Terms & Conditions

Please read this page carefully. Questions? Write to us any time — we are happy to explain.

Last updated: 19 October 2026. Effective date: 19 October 2026. These Terms & Conditions set out the rules for using https://dzoneads.com and the terms on which Dzone Ads provides creative design, website, video, printing and social media services. They are written to be clear and fair to both sides. Please read them carefully before placing an order or approving a quote.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using our website, requesting a quote, placing an order through our online shop, paying an advance or approving a proposal, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Delivery & Turnaround Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.

If you accept on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

If a written quote, proposal or agreement signed or confirmed by both of us contains terms that differ from these Terms & Conditions, the specific terms in that document apply to that project to the extent of the difference.

2. Definitions

  • “Dzone Ads”, “we”, “us”, “our” — Dzone Ads (also “Dzone Ads Advertising”), Pulikkal, Malappuram, Kerala, India.
  • “Client”, “you”, “your” — the person or organisation that requests or buys our services.
  • “Services” — any work we agree to provide, including logo and branding design, business cards, brochures, calendars, posters, wedding invitations, magazine and supplement layout, website design and development, video editing and video profiles, social media promotion and printing.
  • “Deliverables” — the final files, websites, videos, printed items or other outputs we deliver to you.
  • “Concepts” — preliminary designs and options presented before final approval.
  • “Client Materials” — anything you give us for a project, such as logos, photos, text, briefs, data, brand guidelines and account access.
  • “Quote” — a written estimate of price, scope and timeline, sent by email, WhatsApp, PDF or shown as a package on our shop or pricing page.
  • “Working day” — Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays observed in Kerala, unless otherwise stated.

3. Our services

We provide the creative and advertising services described on our services pages. Most of our Services are digital: we deliver design files, websites, videos and social media management online. We also offer printing, with physical delivery within India.

The exact scope of each project — what is included, the number of concepts, revision rounds, file formats, quantities and timelines — is set out in the Quote or package description. Anything not listed there is outside the scope and may be charged separately. We will always tell you before starting work that would cost extra.

We may decline any project, including work we believe is unlawful, misleading, hateful or infringing.

4. Quotes and orders

4.1 Quotes

You can ask for a quote through our quote form, by email, phone or WhatsApp. Quotes are based on the information you give us. Unless the Quote says otherwise, it is valid for 30 days. If the brief changes significantly after we quote — for example, more pages, more products, extra languages or a tighter deadline — we may revise the price and timeline.

Starting prices shown on our website (for example, “logo design from ₹2,999”) are indicative. The final price depends on the scope agreed in your Quote.

4.2 Online orders

Some design packages and services can be ordered online through our WooCommerce shop. When you place an order:

  1. you choose a package and provide your details at checkout;
  2. you pay through a third-party payment gateway shown at checkout;
  3. you receive an automatic email confirming that we have received your order;
  4. we review the order and contact you to collect your brief and materials.

The automatic email confirms receipt only. A contract is formed when we confirm the order or collect your brief after payment. If we cannot accept an order — for example, because of an obvious pricing error or a request outside the package — we will tell you and refund the amount paid in full.

4.3 Accuracy of information

You must give accurate contact, billing and delivery details. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect information.

5. Pricing and taxes

  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) unless the Quote states another currency.
  • Goods and Services Tax (GST) and any other applicable taxes are charged as required by law. The Quote or checkout will show whether prices include or exclude GST.
  • If you need a GST invoice in a business name, please provide your GSTIN and registered business details before the invoice is issued. We may not be able to change an invoice after it has been filed.
  • Printing quotes depend on quantity, paper, size, finish and delivery location. Courier charges are shown at checkout or in the Quote.
  • Clients outside India pay their own bank charges, conversion fees and local taxes unless agreed otherwise.
  • Advertising budgets paid to platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or Google are separate from our fees (see Section 16).

6. Payments

Unless the Quote states otherwise:

  • Small design jobs and online packages are paid in full at the time of ordering.
  • Larger projects require an advance payment (commonly 50%) before work begins, with the balance due before final files are released or the website goes live.
  • Website projects may be billed in milestones, as set out in the Quote.
  • Social media management is billed monthly in advance.
  • Printing is normally paid in full before the job goes to press.

Online payments are processed by third-party payment gateways; we do not store full card numbers. You may also pay by bank transfer or UPI to the account we give you in writing — please confirm account details with us by phone before paying.

If a payment is overdue, we may, after notice, pause work, hold final files or suspend hosting or maintenance we provide. Timelines extend by the length of any payment delay.

7. How a project works

Our usual process (see how we work) is:

  1. Brief — you tell us what you need and send materials.
  2. Quote and advance — we confirm scope, price and timeline; you pay the advance or full amount.
  3. Concepts — we prepare initial concepts or a first draft.
  4. Feedback and revisions — you give consolidated feedback and we revise within the included rounds.
  5. Approval — you approve the final design, proof or website.
  6. Final payment and delivery — you pay any balance and we deliver files, publish the website or print.

8. Your responsibilities and materials

You agree to:

  • provide a clear brief and all required content (text, photos, logos, product details) on time;
  • appoint one person to give feedback and approvals, or consolidate feedback from your team;
  • respond to questions, drafts and proofs within a reasonable time;
  • check spellings, names, phone numbers, dates, prices, addresses and all factual content;
  • make sure your content and claims are lawful, accurate and not misleading.

Rights in Client Materials. You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, all Client Materials, and that our use of them for your project will not infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights. This includes having consent from people who appear in photos you supply, and permission for any third-party logos or artwork. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to use Client Materials for the purpose of carrying out your project.

Personal data in your materials. If your materials include other people’s personal data, you are responsible for having a lawful basis and any required consent to share it with us. We will handle it as described in our Privacy Policy.

Content standards. We may refuse to use material that we reasonably believe is unlawful, infringing, obscene, defamatory, misleading or likely to cause harm.

If a project is on hold for more than 30 days while we wait for your content, feedback or payment, we may pause it and invoice for work done so far. If a project is inactive for more than 90 days without explanation, we may close it, and the Refund & Cancellation Policy will apply.

9. Revisions

Each package or Quote states how many concepts and revision rounds are included. Where no number is stated, the price includes up to two rounds of minor revisions on the chosen concept.

  • A revision round is one consolidated set of changes sent together. Please collect feedback from everyone involved and send it in one message.
  • Minor revisions include changes to text, colours, font sizes, image swaps and small layout adjustments within the agreed concept.
  • Major changes — such as a new concept, a change of direction after approval, a new size or format, or adding new sections or pages — are outside the included revisions and may be charged separately.
  • Additional revision rounds beyond those included are charged at our then-current rates, which we will tell you before proceeding.
  • Correcting a mistake we made does not count as a revision round.

10. Approvals and proofs

Before we finalise a design, publish a website or print, we will share a proof (PDF, image, preview link or staging site). Approval may be given by email, WhatsApp or any clear written confirmation such as “approved” or “OK to print”.

Please check every proof carefully. You are responsible for checking spelling, grammar, names, dates, phone numbers, addresses, prices, logos, colours, sizes and quantities. Once you approve a proof, any errors in it that are then printed, published or delivered are your responsibility, and reprinting or correction will be charged.

  • Colour on screen vs print. Colours look different on different screens and on different papers. Minor variation between on-screen proofs and printed output, and between print batches, is normal and not a defect. If exact colour matching is critical, ask us for a printed sample (charges may apply).
  • Websites. Approval of a staging site or “go-live” instruction means you accept the website as built. Later changes are handled as maintenance or new work.
  • Deemed approval. If you use a deliverable publicly (for example, post a design, publish a website or print files yourself), it will be treated as approved.

11. Delivery and timelines

Typical turnaround times are listed in our Delivery & Turnaround Policy. Timelines start once we have received the advance (or full payment) and all the materials needed to begin.

Timelines are good-faith estimates, not guarantees, and may change if the brief changes, materials or feedback arrive late, or events outside our control occur. We will tell you about expected delays. Where you need a firm deadline (for example, for a wedding, exam, event or launch), please tell us at the start so we can confirm whether we can commit to it in writing.

Digital files are delivered by email, cloud storage link or file transfer service. Printed items are delivered within India by courier or collected by arrangement. Risk in printed goods passes to you on delivery to the address you provide.

12. Intellectual property

12.1 Transfer of rights on full payment

Once you have paid all amounts due for a project in full, we assign to you the copyright and other intellectual property rights we own in the final approved Deliverables created specifically for you, for use in any lawful way, except for the third-party elements described in Section 14 and our pre-existing materials described below. Until full payment, all rights in the work remain with Dzone Ads, and you may not use, publish or print the work.

For logo projects, this means you may register the final logo as a trademark in your own name after full payment. You are responsible for checking trademark availability and registering it; we do not provide trademark searches or legal advice.

12.2 What is not transferred

  • Unused concepts and drafts — rejected concepts, alternative options and working sketches remain our property and may not be used without a separate agreement.
  • Pre-existing materials and know-how — templates, code libraries, design systems, techniques and tools that we created before or independently of your project. Where these form part of your Deliverable, you receive a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use them as part of that Deliverable.
  • Working files — editable source files (for example, AI, PSD, INDD, AEP or Premiere project files) are included only if the package or Quote says so. Otherwise, they can be supplied for an additional fee.

12.3 Our website content

The content of dzoneads.com — including text, graphics, layouts and our own branding — belongs to Dzone Ads or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission, except as allowed by law. Third-party images used on the website are credited on our image credits page.

13. Portfolio rights

Unless you ask us not to in writing before the project is completed, you allow us to display the final Deliverables (and descriptions of the work) in our portfolio, on our website, social media, presentations and printed promotional material, and to mention your organisation’s name as a client. We will not disclose confidential information in doing so.

If you want the work kept private, just tell us. If you later ask us to remove an item, we will remove it from our website within a reasonable time, though we cannot recall printed material already distributed.

14. Third-party assets and licences

Some Deliverables include elements made by others, such as fonts, stock photos, illustrations, icons, music, video clips, WordPress themes and plugins. These remain the property of their owners and are used under licence.

  • We use assets that are licensed for commercial use, open-licence assets, or assets you supply.
  • Where an asset needs a paid licence in your name (for example, a premium font for in-house use, an extended stock licence, or a premium plugin subscription), we will tell you and include the cost in the Quote or ask you to buy it directly.
  • You must comply with the licence terms of third-party assets, including any limits on print runs, resale or use in a trademark. Some stock images and fonts cannot be used in a registered trademark; we design logos to avoid this.
  • Premium plugin or theme licences may require annual renewal to receive updates and support. Renewal is your responsibility unless covered by a maintenance plan with us.

15. Websites, hosting and maintenance

For website development projects:

  • The Quote will specify the number of pages, features, integrations and content entry included.
  • Domain names and hosting are registered in your name wherever possible. If we register them for you, we will transfer them to you on request once all amounts are paid.
  • Hosting is provided by third-party companies. We are not responsible for their outages, data loss or performance problems, though we will help where we manage the hosting.
  • Domain and hosting renewals must be paid on time. We are not liable for loss of a domain, email or website because a renewal was not paid.
  • Unless a maintenance plan is agreed, we are not responsible for updates, backups, security monitoring or fixes after the website has been handed over. Changes made by you or others after handover may affect how the website works.
  • We build websites for current major browsers and mobile devices, but cannot guarantee appearance on every device, older browser or future software version.
  • You are responsible for the content of your website, including its legal pages, product information, prices and compliance with laws that apply to your business.
  • We do not guarantee any particular search engine ranking or traffic.

16. Social media promotion and advertising

  • Ad spend is separate. Our fees cover planning, design, setup and management. The advertising budget is paid directly to the platform (such as Meta for Facebook and Instagram, or Google for YouTube), either by you or through us as agreed. Ad spend paid to platforms is non-refundable by us.
  • Results are not guaranteed. Reach, impressions, clicks, followers, leads and sales depend on many factors outside our control, including platform algorithms, competition, your offer, your pricing and your response to enquiries. We will use our skill and experience, but we do not guarantee any specific results.
  • Platform rules. All campaigns are subject to each platform’s advertising policies. Platforms may reject ads, restrict accounts or change features without notice. We are not responsible for platform decisions, but we will help you respond where we can.
  • Account access. You remain the owner of your pages and ad accounts. Please give us access through role-based permissions where possible. You can remove our access at any time; we will remove our own access at the end of the engagement if asked.
  • Content approval. We will share posts and ads for approval as agreed. You are responsible for the accuracy of offers, prices and claims in your advertising.

17. Printing services

For printing orders, we will confirm quantity, size, paper, finish and delivery before going to press. Minor variations in colour, trimming and quantity (a small percentage over or under the ordered quantity) are normal in commercial printing. Defects caused by printing or manufacturing, such as smudging, wrong paper or incorrect cutting not matching the approved proof, are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy. We currently deliver printed items only to addresses within India.

18. Confidentiality

We will keep confidential any non-public information you share with us about your business, plans, customers or projects, and use it only to provide the Services. We will not disclose it to anyone except our team members and service providers who need it for your project and who are bound to keep it confidential, or where required by law.

This does not apply to information that is public, already known to us, lawfully received from others, or that you allow us to share. We are happy to consider a separate non-disclosure agreement.

Please also keep our quotes and unpublished concepts confidential.

19. Using our website

When using dzoneads.com, you agree not to:

  • break the law or encourage others to do so;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or other users’ accounts;
  • upload malware, send spam or overload the website with automated requests;
  • copy, scrape or republish our content without permission;
  • submit false information or impersonate someone else.

We may block harmful requests and suspend accounts that misuse the website. Keep your account password safe; you are responsible for activity under your account.

20. Warranties and disclaimers

We will provide the Services with reasonable care and skill, and in line with the agreed scope. If a Deliverable does not match what was agreed, please tell us promptly and we will correct it.

Except as stated in these terms and to the extent permitted by law:

  • design is subjective, so we cannot guarantee every concept will match your taste — that is why revisions are included;
  • we do not guarantee business results, sales, rankings, reach or return on investment;
  • we do not give legal, trademark, tax or financial advice; you should get independent advice on such matters;
  • the website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” for general information. See our Disclaimer for more detail.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable law.

21. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • our total liability to you for any claim arising from a project or order is limited to the total fees you paid us for the specific Service that gave rise to the claim (excluding ad spend paid to platforms and third-party costs);
  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, data or opportunity;
  • we are not liable for losses caused by errors in content you supplied or approved, by your delay, by third-party services (hosting, platforms, payment gateways, couriers), or by events described in Section 24.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

22. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Dzone Ads against reasonable losses, costs (including reasonable legal fees), claims and penalties arising from: (a) Client Materials you supply that infringe someone else’s rights or break the law; (b) claims, offers or statements you ask us to publish; (c) your use of the Deliverables in a way that breaks the law or third-party licence terms; or (d) your breach of these terms. We will notify you promptly of any such claim and give you reasonable cooperation.

23. Suspension and termination

  • By you. You may cancel a project by telling us in writing. Refunds, if any, are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy, and you must pay for work completed up to the date of cancellation.
  • By us. We may suspend or end a project by written notice if you fail to pay amounts due, if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, if you ask us to do something unlawful, or if there is abusive or threatening behaviour toward our team. If we end a project for reasons not caused by you, we will refund amounts paid for work not yet done.
  • Monthly services. Social media management and maintenance plans may be cancelled by either side with 15 days’ written notice before the next billing date, unless the Quote states a minimum term.
  • After termination. Rights in completed and fully paid Deliverables transfer as described in Section 12. Sections on payment, intellectual property, confidentiality, liability, indemnity and governing law continue to apply.

24. Force majeure

Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as floods, monsoon disruption, epidemics, fire, strikes or hartals, government orders, internet or power outages, or failures of hosting providers, platforms or couriers. The affected party will inform the other promptly and limit the impact. If the event continues for more than 30 days, either party may end the affected project by written notice, and you will pay for work completed up to that date.

25. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms and any dispute arising from them or from our Services are governed by the laws of India.

If you have a complaint, please contact us or our Grievance Officer (Section 28) first. If a dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days of written notice, either party may pursue the remedies available by law. Subject to any rights you have as a consumer to approach a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the courts at Malappuram, Kerala will have exclusive jurisdiction.

Clients outside India agree that these terms are governed by Indian law and that the courts at Malappuram, Kerala have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law in their country of residence provides otherwise.

26. General

  • Entire agreement. These terms, your Quote and our linked policies form the whole agreement for the Services.
  • Subcontracting. We may use trusted partners (for example, printing presses or developers) for parts of a project, and remain responsible for their work towards you.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent.
  • Severability. If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest remains in force.
  • Notices. Notices may be given by email to the addresses we use for the project. Messages on WhatsApp are also accepted for day-to-day approvals.
  • Electronic records. Quotes, approvals and acceptance given electronically are valid records under the Information Technology Act, 2000.

27. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when they last changed. Changes apply to new orders and Quotes from the date they are published. For projects already in progress, the terms in force when you accepted the Quote continue to apply unless we both agree otherwise.
